    Who We Are

    A GROUP OF 3 COLLEGE STUDENTS

    During our freshmen year at Texas A&M, we noticed a common issue that other students were having: buying and selling items. Every day the class snapchat story is flooded with posts of tickets, clothes, and even cars that students are trying to sell. This disorganized and ineffective system sparked an idea. A platform for students to connect and buy/sell items to other students on their campus. From an idea to a reality, Finds aims to bring shopping to new heights on college campuses.

Our platform is a means through which students can connect with one another and eliminate the hassle of looking through platforms not designed for selling such as Snapchat.

    Frequently Asked Questions

    One of our top priorities at Finds is to keep the costs low for our buyers and make sure our vendors get the most money in their pocket! As a vendor, you are able to list as many items as you want for FREE! We only charge a small 10% fee once an item is sold! For our buyers, it is free to shop and buy as much as you want! There will be other opporuntunies as vendors to promote listings for a small fee as well, but that is comepletely up to you! 

    Safety is a pivotal aspect of Finds! In order to protect our users, we are creating a .edu verification in which you must create an account with your school email. We will then verifiy your email and may request a student ID as well. This is to keep the marketplace run by college studnets only for college students. 

    There are multiple ways that you may be able to receive your order. The vendor is able to select a variety of options from local pickup, dropoff, meet on campus, or shipping through the marketplace. It will be important to communicate together once the item is purchased to find a proper time and place. Don’t ever feel pressured to have to meet up together, either! Do what you are comfortable with!
